We are very pleased to present this award winning film which depicts an era in St. Paul, Minnesota during the 1920s and 1930s.  Many of the well-known gangsters of the era, Machine Gun Kelly and Baby Face Nelson were allowed by the police to operate as was Ma Barker’s gang as long as they didn’t commit crimes inside the city limits.  Gary Crask, the screenwriter, producer, and director will be  present and will be available after the film to answer questions.  Gary is the author of five books which he has donated to our library
