WINTER/SPRING SEASON 2026/2027 IS BACK
Welcome everyone!

Mazatlán Film & Theater (MFT), also known around town as El Recreo, is a not-for-profit organization beginning its 14th year of operation. We are back to begin the fall-spring season of movies, dramatic play readings, concerts, and other activities revolving around the arts in Mazatlán. Summer saw us continuing to offer events and engaging in structural improvements and repairs. All of this was possible because of wonderful volunteers and the contributions to our operating fund made by donors and patrons. We have great plans for the new season!

ART WALK 2026/2027

ART WALK : FRIDAY NOVEMBER 6TH. 2026 at 4 pm until 8 pm
Again this year MFT is happy and proud to participate as an art gallery for this ongoing event in Centro Histórico. Every year, galleries and other spaces in Centro open doors to artists and artisans to show their work. El Recreo offers our historic space to local and expat artists to participate. MAZATLAN FILM AND THEATER JAZZ JAM WILL BE BACK IN DECEMBER FOR THE 2026/2027 WINTER/SPRING SEASON

THIS A FREE EVENT, DONATIONS ARE WELCOMED
Instrumental Jazz Jam Wednesday 5pm to 7pm Instrumental Jazz Jam Session. Intermediate level musicians are invited to join the give-and-take of a “round the circle” Jazz Jam, taking turns calling tunes from our book of “standards” and bossa nova. Music provided.
